U-Fiber ofrece a proveedores de Internet y telecomunicaciones un sistema de transmisión por fibra óptica para servicios Triple Pay (datos, voz, televisión) con velocidades de hasta 2.488 Gbps downstream y 1.244 Gbps upstream. El sistema es gestionado mediante el controlador UNMS™ (Ubiquiti Network Management System)

El sistema U-fiber de Ubiquiti se compone del dispositivo cabecera configurado por el proveedor (UF-OLT-4) y el U Fiber Nano™G (UF-NANO), dispositivo ONU/ONT de cara al cliente

La U-Fiber OLT ofrece ocho puertos GPON SFP y soporta hasta 512 ONT,s concurrentes (128 clientes por cada módulo SFP instalado) con enlaces físicos de hasta 20 km de distancia. Además dispone de dos puertos GPON SFP+ que pueden proporcionar 10G de conectividad de enlace ascendente.

El UF-OLT-4 ofrece opciones de energía flexibles, con dos bahías modulares que pueden albergar tanto módulos de alimentación AC/DC (de serie incluye uno, modelo RPS-AC-100W, puede adquirirser como backup el segundo) como DC/DC (modelo RPS-DC-100W, para uso con alimentación de corriente continua DC)
